Definition of a VA (virtual Assistant)
A virtual assistant (VA) provides professional level administrative, technical, or sometimes creative assistance to clients - usually to other independent entrepreneurs and solo and small business practices. Virtual assistants work from their own office (hence "virtual"). There is a possibility though for clients in the Vancouver area to work at their office. Common modes of communication and data delivery include the Internet (e.g. WWW, FTP and email), conference calls, and fax. The work will be done on a contractual basis.
